Cycling Solution - Example
- Polycarbonate Shield Lens + Anti-slip TR90 frame
Lens material: Polycarbonate (PC) One-Piece Shield Lens
Lens Color: Photochromic Red High-Contrast
Ventilation Design
The one-piece shield lens eliminates frame obstruction, 180° vision revealing every undulation of the corner. Top vents aren’t just decoration – they leverage riding speed for active ventilation.
- Rapid-Shift Photochromic
- Venturi Effect Ventilation
How to choose Cycling sunglasses?
- Impact Resistance: 10 times more impact-resistant than CR-39 and over 60 times stronger than glass.
- Weight: Specific gravity 1.20, one of the lightest optical materials, 35% lighter than CR-39.
- Thermal Formability: Can be injection molded into high-curvature shield shapes.
- Cost Moderate: suitable for mass production.
Red: contrast boost; may reduce perceived eye fatigue for some people
- It alters color relationships so boundaries can look more distinct in complex lighting.
Grey: best color accuracy, most versatile
- It is a neutral tint that reduces light fairly evenly across the visible spectrum, meaning it naturally darkens everything. It is comfortable for long wear and offers reliable color perception.
- Photochromic Rapid-Shift Technology: Rapid-Shift photochromic lenses, all with battery-free, lifetime maintenance-free operation.
- Active Airflow Ventilation System: The unique aspect of cycling is the constant presence of wind. Active ventilation is a lifelong anti-fog solution.
- Mirror coating: This coating can enhance clarity and reduce glare.
- Hard Coating: PC surface is soft without coating.
- Hydrophobic treatment: adding this top layer can prevent stains, dust and fingerprints.
light weight is definately desirable for sports glasses, TR90 is an excellent frame material in compliment with our PC lens. To achieve active airflow ventilation, we need an Internal air duct on the fram: A channel milled into the inner side of the frame to prevent airflow from blowing directly onto the eyeball.
