Reading the grain is reading the green’s language. Our copper-brown lens selectively enhances the spectrum, revealing subtle blade direction. The semi-rimless design liberates lower vision—unobstructed sightline from ball to cup when putting.

How to choose Golf sunglasses?

The core requirement for golf is color contrast. X&C color-enhancing technology enables spectral selective enhancement — boosting contrast through transmission differences between the 550-580nm band and surrounding bands, unlike ordinary sunglasses that uniformly darken the field of view.

Copper-brown lenses are“cheat filters” — they trick your eyes into making grass green “pop” more vividly. This design leverages human color perception: we’re most sensitive to yellow-green hues. The copper-brown base enhances this wavelength while filtering distracting blue light.

Golf Visual Science:

  • Human Eye Sensitivity Band: 555nm (yellow-green light), peak response of rod cells
  • Grass Leaf Reflectance Spectrum: High reflectance at 550-600nm, low reflectance of soil <500nm
  • Contrast Principle: Amplify differences between target (grass green) and background (soil/bunker)

Spectral Characteristics of Copper Brown Lenses:

  • 400-500nm (Blue-Violet): 80% Absorption → Reduces Sky Glare

Color Enhancement Coating: Precisely adjust light at specific wavelengths to highlight turf texture and the ball.

Anti-Reflective Coating: Reduce lens rear surface reflections (back glare); Enhance light transmission for a brighter, more realistic field of view;
Reduce eye fatigue, suitable for extended wear (4-5 hour golf rounds).

Hydrophobic/Oleophobic Layer: Prevents water droplets from adhering, keeping lenses dry and clear (resists rain or sweat); Repels fingerprints, oils, and sunscreen residue, reducing scratches caused by wiping. This is especially crucial for golf, where players frequently apply sunscreen and face unpredictable outdoor weather conditions.

Hardening/Anti-Scratch Coating: During golf, eyewear may contact hard objects like golf bags or carts; scratch resistance extends its lifespan.

Anti-slip stability is the top priority. While golf isn’t as strenuous as running or cycling, the swinging motion causes significant head movement and body rotation. Rubber/silicone materials offer natural anti-slip properties, providing enhanced friction—especially when sweaty — to ensure glasses stay securely in place.

Comfort and Fit is also key in Golf. Golf sessions typically require wearing glasses for 4-5 hours, demanding exceptional comfort during prolonged use:
Rubber/silicone temples: Soft and skin-friendly, they adapt to head shapes while distributing pressure evenly across ears and temples. Adjustable anti-slip rubber sleeves at the temple tips enable 360-degree bending for a custom fit that conforms to the head while reducing pressure points.
